Called my FFL today and he hasn't heard a thing about my order. It's been 3 months now, maybe pretty soon, I hope.

I love mine. I got it back in 2007, it makes one ragged hole at 100yds. -
I have one with a 16" barrel but I wanted the classic with a 20" and I'll put a good scope on it. That's if I ever get it.Comment

I picked up an Armalite 20" model with flat top after the electron, & was test-firing it the day of Newtown. Glad I got it when I did. The stock 2-stage trigger on this one is really, really nice. Like my best '03.
I see one like it on GB for $1500 now, but mags are still a little scarce and peculiar to that brand. I guess that is the knock on Armalite, but since I stocked up on mags when I bought the rifle, I don't think it'll be an issue.
Hopefully you'll get yours soon for some spring shooting.Comment

It's now 6 months waiting and still no DPMS AR 10. My FFL is calling but gets no answer. Oh, maybe some day in the future.Comment
