    Lyman AR handbook

2nd Edition of the handbook and reloading manual.

The section on gas tube lengths was informative. Next is to get a copy of The Black Rifle.

Zediker's book on the AR, (The Mouse That Roared) is a good read as well, and if you want to read of reloading, https://www.amazon.com/Handloading-C.../dp/096269259X

Derrick Martin (of Accuracy Speaks) had a good book on the AR as well

Personally, I preferred reading Top-Grade Ammo by Zediker. HLC as he called it is exceptionally detailed and if you want to eliminate the icing and get to the basic, Top-Grade Ammo is more precise for handloading. Includes a three tier listing of preferred reloading tools. By the way, did you folks know he passed away last year. I think it was in October.
Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.
      Author unkown.

The Black Rifle is very expensive. $189.17Cdn on Amazon.ca. .abebooks.com lists the hardcover at $115US. $200US on Amazon.
Blake came into the gun shop I worked in years ago. When he was selling his definitive book on the FN, he'd wander around gun shows with a pile of 'em in his hands.
          Spelling and grammar count!

Saw that Zediker passed in October; he grew up quite close to here. It appears his books are not being published anymore as I cannot find them at the store which used to stock them. I have The Mouse but would like to find the reloading books.

Try Glens web site. Possibly one of his sons may be keeping it going.

Midsouth shooters supply still has a couple of his books.

Glen was his own publisher. I don't think he made arrangements for the company to continue.
