Early waffle 20 round magazines in pouch, I have also seen the four magazine pouch too

I kept one of mine as a souvenir from 68 and my vest made from a half shelter. It has pouches to hold 20 mags, 1 box C Rats, pockets to hold a few M79 gernades and a pocket for 40 rounds on stripper clips. It didn't keep you dry by any means.

Some additional photos of the variations of markings on the early magazines, I believe the small CAL..223 is early as I found it on a three digit Colt SP1 Sporter. The 30 rd magazine is early for both the AR-15 or AR-18/180
