    Firing pins

Was doing a search on Ti firing pins and read lots of negatives about Ti 1911 pins.

Are there lightweight AR firing pins which are not Ti?

never bothered,, the standard pins have not let me down except for once, when a primer burst and messed the tip up,

I have shot literally 1000's of rounds of reloads in a Service rifle, and many more thru guns being functioned checked or my personal M16, as well as the double handful of AR's that I own, and have never had a slam fire, using factory ammo, (and USGI M193) and reloads, using mostly Winchester primers,

Slam fire are mostly attributed to high primers and especially for semi-autos like the Garand with a floating fire pin.
Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.
