Even if I owned an AR15, I doubt I would register it again. Firearms sold thru a FFL dealer are already registered.

Australia's nightmare laws.... England's nightmare laws... in both cases only law abiding citizens registered their firearms & turned them in when they were later made illegal for ANYONE to own..............no career criminal/ armed robber etc ever complied with either provision,. both California's & New York's gov't officials admit this..............
