    Picking a big bore upper

Have been considering a big bore upper for deer or black bear . After doing some searching on the 450 Bushmaster , 458 Socom , and the 50 Beowolf it seems either would fill the bill ballistic wise and in accuracy .
So I guess now its a matter of getting to a couple of gun shops and finding out what the costs of getting one of these is gonna run .
Seems a new scope will be in order too as I don't have any compact quality scopes .

you might look at Leupold's excellent series of low powered variable scopes............. they are offered in a broad price range too...... Excellent eye relief, & 100% lifetime warranty (might not be on the new electric ones)........... MidWayUSA was carrying all of them............
be safe, enjoy life, journey well

leupold has been making fixed power compacts for years. Straight 6x has been working on my limited range 6.8 just fine. Might consider it.
