    AR10 via 3D printer

News story on MSN that a group has constructed a AR10 (7.62X51) rifle with a 3D printer. The article states that the finished product is much heavier than a commercial built model but had to be to handle the stress of firing. No mention of the cost or weight. No doubt the antis and ATF had to change their undergarments. Watch for a slew of new firearm regulations.

I saw an article that was for a bolt action rifle that used a modified AR 10 upper receiver...... they claimed that it was used to fire several shots.. the barrel was used with an AR 15-10 barrel nut/extension that the bolt locked into. I was left with more questions than answers, and did not see any pix of it.

wonder how long it took to make, some guns that were made took many hours to make. Should be heavy, I would think, being made of sintered metal.
