    M4 Carbine in Maryland?

How can a Maryland resident legally purchase, own and use a Colt LE6920 “M4” Carbine, or equivalent?

Elect a Republican government in Maryland and get rid of the liberals.

As long as it is at least 29½" long overall, and possesses a "heavy" barrel (ex.: H-Bar), it's legal to be bought new now in Maryland. Most M4 16 inchers can be configured to meet the reqs. Going shorter than that probably not. I'm finishing up building an A3 20" H-bar for which I bought all the components over the counter right here, including the lower. Not really that much of hassle, as despicable as the new laws are.
