03A3 Stock Question

Saw a very nice looking Remington O3A3 that sold on Pre98.com in the past couple of days. Like the rifle, even though I'm not sure the bolt is blued, but had a question about the stock. The SN is 3456413. The bbl date is 2-43. That sounds about right to me. But the stock has bolts instead of pins and is marked with an RA in addition to the Ordnance stamp and FJA. That early shouldn't the stock have pins and no RA mark?

You are correct. The rifle has been re-stocked and re-bolted.
