    03A3 original stock?

    Frank J Atwood blocked and Ordnance wheel.... no rebuild stamp to the left of Atwoods stamp

    According to m1903.com it shows Remington "new Manufacture"..



    Inspector stamps forward of the trigger guard/mag plate...Triangle 1, Circle 11, Square 89, another circle can make out what's inside.

    Lower band spring cutout is squared off where pined in stock.

    Question.... the upper band, are remingtons marked R and have a slight crease or fold where the screw threads protrude on the left side?

      Sounds like an early Remington without the RA near the FJA and crossed cannons. Don't follow you on the crease of fold on left side of upper band.

          9-43 barrel.. 4.024 serial

          The screw holes don't have that smooth curve... has a dimple crease. Best I can describe it.


          Mine isn't marked R

          so I take it this is the one...
