Springfield 1903 International Target Rifle - Steal of the Century

Cowan's Auction had a couple of nice 03's they auctioned off yesterday. One was a 1938 03 Sporter, which I won, the other was a 1903 HB International Target Rifle with Winchester A5 scope. Only one bid and it sold for $3000.00 plus seller premium for a total of $3525.00. Estimate was $6000 - $8000. It appears correct and has to be the deal of the century. A true bargain for the buyer, but you did not know what the buyers maximum bid would had been. Possibly you could had driven him also to $ 6000.

I would have loved to own it myself. I never used to be into this stuff, but that to me is like fine art.
