    completed restoration of SA 1903

I had this receiver (606103) with a mint Rock Island 5-18 dated barrel for almost twenty
years. I took it out of storage and decided to restore it to something post WW1 period.

I had a USMC set of sights (original) and used my last high hump hand guard toodscn2703.jpgdscn2704.jpgdscn2747.jpgdscn2745.jpg

Very nice restoration! Very nice indeed!

Based on what I see in your photos, your rifle has a remarkable resemblance to a USMC rifle. If so, then your set of USMC sights would be quite appropriate.

    And the stock is spectacular!

    Thanks for sharing!
