early Remington 1903 question

Were the rear stock swivels and bases on early (1941) Remington 1903s blued or parkerized? Were there any identifying markings applied?

Someone should write a book on Remington 1903 production..

Rear sling swivels were blued. The book is coming, we'll just have to wait.
