I've never seen Brit markings on a Springfield 1903 or any other rifle, other than Garands. We sure were nice to the Brits. Too bad we didn't have early warning radar to send to them.If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.Comment

The early radar system they employed allowed them to concentrate their relatively small Air Force to intercept the Nazis. Goering never knew what hit him (thankfully)!Comment
