Question about sears
On Vi Shooters chart, the pre WW2 sear is without the bottom hole while
the WW2 sear has the hole.
My early Rock Island s/n 64145 with RIA 3-07 bbl and my SA 160963 with a
SA 2-07 bbl - both have sears with the bottom hole. Are these rifles with a incorrect sear ?
Both rifles do not have any indication of being rebuilt.Last edited by RCS; 01-16-2010, 06:59. -

Glad to hear you're back up. Thanks for all your hard work. Are you and Herschel going to add model 1922s?

I posted a thank you to Vi Shooter early this morning that posted right after DON W's post.
It posted but now it's gone. Wonder where it went?

Sorry, the baby went out with the bath water. The thread was deleted because the site came back up.

The news will make John Beard happy -- it'll put an end to all my whining emails asking for bolt data!!
