    Two more for SRS check

Springfield 575629 & 16487 both have a mix of parts, nothing special.

The 16487 was made in 1903. The 575629 was made in 1914. Post pictures please. Very unusual to find an 03 from the first production year.

Thank you for checking Johnny. Merc I will post some pictures later today. 16487 is currently a barreled receiver. 575629 was my first 03, I bought in the mid 80's a true mixmaster came in a mint 03A3 stock that someone had roughly carved finger groves into.

The old M1903s were re-chambered for 30-06 in 1906. Restoring the rifle to its original military configuration would be an interesting project.

I had thought about it but decided to go with a 06 conversion restoration. Thinking the rod bayonet parts would be difficult to find for original configuration.
