he got more then a lathe..hell, a buffing wheel, a torch, a grinder, and a big ass hammer..
its bad when the Canjar set trigger, with safety, had more value and apeal the the rifle.
if it aint broke...fix it till it finally is.

            That's one serious imagination!
As the late Turner Kirkland was fond of saying, "If you want good oats, you have to pay the price. If you'll take oats that have already been through the horse, those come cheaper."

At least 7 people like it. What a mess. Looking at that thing will make you go blind.

I like the pivot mount so you can use the iron sights when you don't want to use the scope.

Nice looking old sporter job, but, as indicated, way too much on a milsurp action. Then again, you could buy them for $29 when that one was done and the prospect of finding a real top quality .22 LR from an American manufacturer was about zero. This guy obviously wanted a quality rifle built to his specs. Mannlicher stocks were very popular in the late 50's and early 60's.

Remember, this was a different time. I wonder what car collectors will think of all the hot rods built out of old Fords when another 50 years have passed? Wonder if they will have the same revulsion then as collectors feel today toward sporters from the 60's?

                    Good point Mack,
I like your way of thinking... Only time will tell if it comes true or not....

I don't believe that buttpad is thick enough to cushion the M2's recoil.
