Barrel diameter??

What is the diameter of a GI 03 barrel at the muzzle end? I'm looking at a sight for my sporter but I've got a replacement barrel on mine. I've got a guy selling a banded ramp front sight that he says fits on a 24 inch Springfield barrel. I want to make sure it's close to .645. Thanks.

Tha actual muzzle diameter...

of the GI 1903 barrel is .615", but the seat for the front sight base is about .645".
