    I Spied...

On the shelf at a gun shop in Idaho Falls......
Consignment sale from an estate, Springfield Armory receiver bearing 1.24 million s/n, with Hatcher Hole, assembled to SA barrel with mid-1921 date. Finish was well-handled Park. Bolt was small vent hole, with swept handle, but Bay Products sleeve, Remington safety and striker rod, as well as R marked cutoff.
Milled, park'd magazine ass'y, milled upper and lower bands, both Parkerized.
Assembled into pinned Remington non-gg A3 stock.

Sounds about $200-300 overpriced to me.

Rick, at that price, I didn't even feel compelled to make an offer on it. Sometimes, ya jist has to shake yer head and walk away.
Nice folks, and VERY knowledgeable, but, it seems, with more interest in contemporary arms.
