USMC No.10 sight

Does any body have a picture or the dimensions for a USMC No. 10 sight And will they work on a 1903a3? Thanks

You could also enlarge a #5 or #6 to the #8 size which is alright too

And no....they are for the '03 barrel mounted sight , not the A3 reciever sight.

On top of that, if you use a Marine #10 rear peep sight, you have to replace the front sight with the Marine front sight. It too cannot be mounted on an 03A3 barrel.

Just to pick a couple of nits...

you can certainly use the original thin 1903/A3 front sight with an enlarged aperture - and I do. The combination might not be what the Marine sight set was, but it works just fine.
And the Marine front sight can be used on the A3 barrel: all you have to do is replace the A3 front sight assembly with the complete 1903 set, which is easily done. The height of the Marine front sight assembly might not work well with the A3 rear sight, though.

Thanks to every one! I was thinking about making a front blade to the USMC profile to go on a 03a3. My old eyes can not see that thin blade very well anymore. I would make it the same height as my front sight and just under the .100 limit in the CMP rules. Do any of you have a picture of the USMC front blade? Thanks again. Bill

Redfield made a nice bead front sight blade that fits the 1903 and the 1903A3..great for tired eyes
