SA/JFC dates to the mid-1930s, towards the end of J.F. Coyle's career at Springfield Armory."We make men without chests and expect from them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honor and are shocked to find traitors in our midst."

Could have been one of the stocks sent to Springfield, along with other parts, in the late 1920s."We make men without chests and expect from them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honor and are shocked to find traitors in our midst."
