SRS check on RIA

Hi...I've been looking at a RIA '03 which seems original, and was wondering if a SRS check could be done. The s/n is 297804. Thanks!

Well they took it off the line disassembled it and all parts were checked to see they were within specification.

Does it mention whether that was at SA or RIA? My rifle shows all the earmarks of one of the 8000 or so "parts sets" that were sent to SA for assembly...

Interesting what one finds when one digs a little deeper. Googling "Madison barracks", where RIA #297786 was in 1931, yielded this photo from approximately that era. That rifle is 18 numbers away from mine, so it's not too far a stretch to imagine that mine might be in that photo. Note that the bolts on the rifles in the pic appear bright...
