Yep, something like that would get someone a General Court-martial today.

It seems strange to me that a lowly corporal is in charge of the scantly clad women and no one else in camp seems to be watching. Also, hard to imagine those costumes in 1933/38.

"this is my rifle, this is my gun, this ones for fighting....."
As the late Turner Kirkland was fond of saying, "If you want good oats, you have to pay the price. If you'll take oats that have already been through the horse, those come cheaper."

What's the automobile on the far left side? And the two figures on top of the poles in the 2nd pic?

Auto on far left looks like a 50's station wagon

I see no auto,...I see a bed frame, with a pillow and a blanket e-folded under it.

I can read the serial number of the rifle that's second from the left and I believe it's in my collection! Do I have any offers?

No much close observation by you fellows. Guess you didn't notice the "tap" dance shoes the ladies have on.

That photo gives new meaning to the orders; "Chest OUT! Stomach IN!"
