SRS volumes as they pertain to M1903s...

I see listings for SRS volumes posted form time to time, and am interested in making a purchase eventually. The question I have is, what changes from volume to volume? Is it just additions of more serial numbers for a wide range of rifles, or do different versions cover different rifles?

I am mostly interested in M1903s and M1 Garands, so which volume would be the best for me to be on the lookout for?

You need all the volumes to get the full range of serial numbers. Each volume expands the number of each type of weapon covered, but the information is a little more comprehensive with each one.
