    USS North Carolina 1903 Update

We just thawed out. No one could board the old girl for a couple of months. The curator, Ms. Booker, wants to complete a new entry display before we begin the search. FYI, the records are on the boat. She is going to contact me as soon as the display is complete.

Bet you guys thought I had forgotten!

I am surprised at the willingness to assist me on the part of the curator, Ms. Booker. I think I have an excellent chance of finding the egg if it is in those records. It won't be a two day job. I expect to spend a few weeks in the old girl. My problem is knowing when to quit. Assuming the records are in order, anyone have any ideas where to start? Any old Navy guys who filed documents out there?

Cool, thanks for all the hard work as well as Ms Booker. She must be quite helpful, she has been cited in various books and publications, etc - Must be really dedicated.
