SRS check please!

I guess you can say that I inherited an 03 this weekend. It is Springfield Armory #1503207 and I believe it may be a National Match as it has Lyman sights and polished bolt. I got it from a friend and it belonged to his father. He was an Colonel in the Army and after retiring he was a military history professor and a rifle instructor at the academy. I was also told that he shot at the nationals.

Springfield Armory S/N 1503207 does not appear in the SRS data base. If the rifle was originally purchased by a military officer, then the rifle would have been purchased directly from the Army without going through the DCM and no SRS DCM sales record would exist.
