    Saw a Mark 1

    Saw my first Mark 1 today. problem is someone has sporterized it.
    USMC 1969-1993 6333/8153/9999

    Was it a Mark I receiver with replaced barrel or stock and hand guard or all of the Mark I parts? Or was it still entirely in correct Mark I configuration?

      The barrel was a 1919 barrel and the other parts had the same S/N's as the receiver.

        Sure you saw that right? M1903s don't usually have "matching" serialed parts.
