Sedgley died in 1938 but his firm continued to make sporters until shortly after WWII.

When he went out of buisness his inventory of parts, possibly other stuff, was purchased by another gun buisness in PA.(can't come up with name now but he was well known and had German name) I have a Sedgley 03 Mannlicker carbine put to-gether by him. All proper metal hardware, but stock has a hi cheek piece and other design features that Sedgley did not use. Barrel has been turned 180 degree so Sedgley name is on bottom.
Also have a Sedgley ad from Rifleman dated 1929. I once passed on a Sedgley Krag at a gun show, 600 bucks. Sorry 'bout that one now!

I seem to remember a single shot 22 rf barrel (off set chamber) that Sedgley made to convert the Model 1911 to shoot 22 rf ?
