I have a SA, SN 1181xxx. The stock has two stock screws. There are two cartouches, a D.A.L. and I.C.C. over R.I.A., see picture.

Are the cartouches legit, or fake? The L. in the D.A.L. cartouche looks canted. I can't find anything on the I.C.C. cartouche.

There was an ICC/RIA, I believe it dates to the early 20s and I don't know if the inspector has been identified.

The RIA stamp is from a post WWI rebuild program at RIA. Here is one on a RIA rifle I have. The "L" looks Ok to me. Looks like a dink or open grain of wood causing it to appear out of whack.
