    Guys, please look over pics and give me any opinions, good or bad!

    Serial# 3695193 Smith Corona with barrel stamped SC with 5/43 date.

      Barrel is correct for the receiver. As a side note: Data I've collected over the last couple of years seems to show fewer May 43 barrels compared to April and June. Data on VI-Shooter seems to match my observations. Neither set of data is probably extensive enough to be conclusive and does not seem to have any effect on value...just an observation.

      I think the pinned stock would still be considered correct for your SN, however I've recorded nearly equal numbers of bolted stocks in the same range. Someone else may have more conclusive information on that.

      Can't tell from the picture if your trigger guard is a small or large bow (or if it is SC for that matter). Firing pin is SC.

        Looks like a "square" P-proof stamp right over the circle p - that indicate an overhaul at either Red River or San Antonio arsenals.

          I concur with Rick the Librarian. Your rifle has been repaired or overhauled at San Antonio Arsenal. But it appears to retain some of its original parts including the barrel.
