    Remington 03A3 purchase...

I acquired this 7-43 date Rem. 03A3 over the weekend. I've always wanted to get one of these but wasn't able to find a decent example till now. It appears to be in really nice original shape and seems to have seen little use after leaving the Remington factory. Here are some pics.

This rifle appears to be one of those that merely "passed through" the Ogden rebuild facility . . . .WITHOUT anything being done to it except for the "OG" stamped in the middle of the butt-stock.

Interesting to me that it is right in the middle of when the later changes were introduced - the "RA" (Remington Arms) added to the stock markings and the later ("winter") trigger guard.
