CJB Mark I Stock

Ran into a "CJB" marked, Mark I stock at the gun show. I did not even know the stamp existed, until I looked it up in Campbell. He puts it in the 1918-20 time period, which goes along with the Mark I thing.

Brophy lists the stamp but provides no info. Just wondering if any of you guys have seen it before?

I have a boxed CJB on my Mark I stock. It came on a 1.15 million range Mark I, for what it's worth.

I haven't seen much info on that stamp either. I'm curious too!

Thanks for the serial # info! Maybe we can narrow down the range in which it was used.

I have seen the stamp in a loose stock that dates from the immediate post-WWI period.
