Need help with early Hoffer-Thompson 1903 GP restoration

I bought an early M1903 Gallery Practice rifle ( a.k.a. Hoffer-Thompson ) at a local gun show a few weeks ago. It appears to be completely correct per info I have gleaned from Brophy's book, but he didn't go into a great deal of details on the early ones. It is missing the rear sight slide, and since it has the 2400 yard sight leaf, it takes the earlier one with the tab that fits between the limbs of the leaf. I'm not sure if this slide is the one with the in-laid platinum line or not. Can anyone help me locate the slide or the complete leaf and slide? I have exhausted the normal sources such as DeChristopher and S&S. I have attached a few pictures to try to show what is missing.

It would be very difficult to find a slide with the square end, maybe you could modify a Krag slide ?

Saw one on EBay six months ago so keep looking. Parts like that do pop up now and then. Also, I own several HT and only one has the early sight. The later 1908 era rear sight is absolutely correct.
