New Criterion barrel

I just received my new 1903 Criterion barrel from CMP.
I have a question regarding the front sight area. It is cut for the 03a3 front sight key. Are all of the Criterion barrels, either 03 or 03a3, cut this way ? Or did I get an 03a3 by mistake ?

All Criterion barrels are cut for the M'03-A3 front sight key. The key, when installed, will work for either front sight.

As a matter of note, all WWII High Standard M1903 barrels use the M'03-A3 front sight key.
