SC Bolt

Who made the bolts for the SC 03's? A friend picked up what appears to be a fairly correct SC. However, the bolt is marked with an R. Also is there a good website for ID'ing 03 parts?

Smith-Corona made their own M'03-A3 bolts. An "R" marked bolt was made by Remington and would not be the original bolt in a Smith-Corona rifle. A good reference website is
