    Usmc 1903

I thought this would be a nice rifle for my first post..It sits in a scrubbed 1903a3 stock and the bolt is from the same period as the stock not ep'd..Rear sight slide has been opened up..Comments welcome, thanks for looking, Mike

What does the butt plate look like?
Spam Sniper- one click, one kill.

CSP is what you make it.

A picture of your gun is worth 1,000 words. A crappy picture is only worth 100.

        Nice looking Marine rifle.

                Congratulations on your USMC '03!

                How does it shoot?

Just curious about the accuracy of Sedgley barrels.

Very much doubt that the rifle I own is a USMC rifle. It is a 800,XXX SA 1918 receiver w/ Sedley barrel in a scant stock w/ RA-P stamp. When Danish M-2 was commonly available, I fired a number of 10 shot strings at 100 yds. from sandbags. Groups were under 2.0 inches, many were right about 1.5 inches. The barrel is ever so slightly hazed, doubtless from someone not properly cleaning, but happily the bore is very sharp w/ an excellent muzzle... 5/16 inch showing using HXP M-2 ball. Sincerely. bruce.
