    Sarco Scope Mount 1903A4

    On my way home from the Allentown Show I stopped by Sarco. They had repro 03A4 scope bases. They are the closest I've ever seen to the original. The park was horrible but they got the shape real nice-including the relief for the scope bell. Unlike the ones in the ad picture they had no casting sprue marks-looked machined. Anyway, a media blast and a park job and they'll look good. As far as fit, that I don't know.

    I also picked up a 1903 Remington stock in pretty good shape. A quick clean and it's on my rifle.

      let us know how well they mount and fit...
      if it aint broke...fix it till it finally is.

          I didn't buy it. Already have a Redfield on mine. Just saying it was the closest in appearance to the WWII ones I've seen yet. Stu
