Is the Bolt a "NS"?
Could be the same "C R" on receivers.

No..............you're right. It's definitely a CR.

ill have him send some other pics of the under side of the bolt head, and the bolt handle root.

I need more pictures and information. I reserve judgment on the marking. I show a "CR" marked bolt from the 1943 period.

The marking is not likely a steel lot code. That's why it wouldn't show up on Vi Shooter's page.
