What front and rear sights are used on a M1903 rifle to make it a National Match?

National match rear sights have the numbers centered on the sides. They are usually more deeply stamped. If you have sights to compare, they are easy to recognize. -

When you think about it, the sights really don't make the rifle a National Match. A rifle could be put together by a guy in his basement using National Match parts, but would it then be a National Match rifle? I wouldn't think it would.
But I know what you meant. Don't mind me... I'm just the piano player.Last edited by Fred; 04-17-2015, 07:45.Comment
