          The problem is the Internet has so much bad info on it that people believe all the crap and not listen to an expert. I have the same problem in my field of work and it gets frustrating

            It was found during the Spanish American War that the trap door Springfield was a better battle rifle than the Krag. You could affix the bayonet and charge across an open field while firing your black powder cartridges creating a wall of white smoke that gave you a constant smoke screen out 10 feet in front of you. The enemy could not see you to shoot you. It was also found during the Philippine insurrection that the .45 caliber bullet from Springfield had better knock down power than the little pipsqueak .30 caliber bullet of the newer Krag rifle.

              It wasn't even a good video. The guy mumbled his way throughout. He showed his evidence of large use of 03s during ww1 by showing a couple of images of soldiers standing there with 03s.
