Trying to find information on what appears to be a Griffin and Howe custom sporter built on a Rock Island NRA sporter.
sn/1472306.

The rifle has a star gauged barrel, Lyman 48 rear sight with flip down, most parts and stock are marked with the last three digits of the serial number.
The barrel is numbered to the receiver, the trigger group parts are stamped with matching numbers.
Stricker assembly is same serial number as receiver and so on.
It has the typical G&H ramp front sight.

Pics would help. I have a "sporterized" NRA sporter that used the original stock. Does yours have the cross bolts?
