auction said it was a WWI sniper rifle...curious to see if it was legit, or if they saw someone coming. intel appreciated, thankyou.

The scope looks like a real USMC modified A5. But the blocks that attach to the rifle do not look correct at all. The original ones are a wedge style and are longer than the ones on this rifle.

the same auction offered an admittedly "assembled" M1941 sniper rifle....gotta watch those folks.....reminds me of the folks who respond " All correct? Whut's thayat?"
