I have taken a photo of the M2 butt plate to correct the record. Sorry.

      Tom,
I have several like the one in the middle in picture. Email me and we can work out a deal if you like.

EriCal, this is the standard 1903 fine checkered plate used briefly before WWI and again postwar.

"The stock may be off an M2 Rifle but the buttplate is not correct for it. It appears to be a Model 70 Winchester buttplate." Yup, it's a beautiful Model 70 buttplate!

            EriCal . . . .

            I believe the pictured butt-plate is INCORRECT for the M2 . . . .Although it is a "screw-on" exchange!

The correct plate looks VERY similar, but has NO trap door and the checkering is much COARSER! --Jim

Is Paul still in business? He used to come to some of the Northern CA shows.

I've heard some limbsavers are doing this and if you call limbsaver, they will replace it.
