30-03 caliber barreled receiver for Model 1901

I have pictured a 1901 receiver as an example only, it is not legal for sale on Ebay. You are bidding on the barrel only.

Oh! Heck I understand now! I'd typed the word "receiver" myself in the title. Well heck... However, like I suggested earlier, maybe he couldn't speak of his receiver being available on an eBay add.
I'll bet it's for sale and that he'll transfer it. I could be wrong of course and I often am I guess, but if I were interested in building a representative example of a Model 1901 rifle, of which I guess there were variations, I'd send the seller a question via email.
Man, when will another one of these come along?

I saw an assembled from original parts Model 1901 come up for auction a few years back. It was beautiful. I think it went for just a tad more than $2,000.00 That was a steal. I wish that I'd been on my toes and bid on it too.
