Well Georg, there's always the chance that I'll be bringing it back home if nobody there wants it. Then I'll still have a Rod Bayonet 1903 Springfield. That's not so bad.

Fred, I have no idea how your current deal(s) will play out, but, some day, I'll be parting with either one or both of my Springfield-Sharps.

Both are pictured on my web page. My type I is very nice, quite a bit of color; the type II is not quite as good (but is 3-4X scarcer!).

Perhaps a fall-back position? I just cannot say when.
