Hi, I have a 1903 made in 1933 ,it has been re-barreled with a 1943 USMC Sedgley barrel. The stock is a ''C'' type , is that correct for a war time rebuild ?

I edited my comment as I read it as you were looking to buy one. Not you already had one.

Did you just by chance buy it? Man there is no easy way to say this but a 1933 receiver with a 43 USMC Sedgley barrel, and then on top of that a C stock. It just raises red flags you know.

The Marines did get some C stocks. They fought it for a long time, but finally gave in when they really needed stocks. The Marine Teams did buy some replacment ones too.

Everything I've seen document wise though leads me to believe they only got SA C stocks and not very many.

I hope I'm wrong.
