    M1917 Sling Swivels

I recently aquired an Eddystone m1917 with a serial number 116****. I believe it was manufactured toward the end of production. My question is: Is it normal for the sling swivels, both front and rear, to have a cutout in them just like the stacking swivel?
It doesn't appear to be a home gunsmith project that happened at some point in the rifle's life.
    Thank you,
    Paul K

Nope, the only swivel with a cutout is the stacking swivel.
If you need some solid ones, Springfield Sporters has them, see item 43.

Remember, when you go to install them, the offset side goes to the right.

Paul K., I think you have the British Lee Enfield Mark 111 stacking swivels

How did you figure that one out with the information provided?

If all three are honest to god stacking swivels you should have no problem selling the two you dont need here.
Most places you try to buy a stacking swivel for these rifles you end up with a normal swivel that has been cut, so there's many folks looking for them
