Remington 1917. good, bad or ugly?

Like to show this off, and see if it's worth what was paid for it! Would have preferred the 1948 price of $7.50.IMG_0920.jpgIMG_0916.jpg
Freedom is not free, the cost can be seen everyday, for it is engraved in marble, cast in bronze and highlighted with little American flags!

Don't know what you paid, but that is a beautiful rifle! You are most fortunate. Now, grab some ammo, head for the range. Then, range report! Pictures of targets! Etc.!!! Sincerely. bruce.

If you enjoy shooting vintage rifles, you’ll enjoy shooting your M1917. If there ever was a battle rifle that was meant to be fired, the M1917 is it. It’s well built with excellent sights even minus the windage adjustment.
