Just purchased this rifle and am hoping I did OK. Description says all markings visible are eddystone. I know that some hidden markings may turn out not to be. I figure that I probably overpaid somewhat but this was the closest to being all original that I've seen in some time. I am curious as to what the really knowledgeable 1917 people think of this rifle. If it's a POS don't be afraid to say so. Thanks in advance for your input. RB

From what few photos there are, at the price you paid you did okay. As you said alot of the smaller parts MAY not be Eddystone, but they are not so expensive as to keep you from correcting them. Barrel looks good & the wood ain't to shabby either. Nice score!
