Looking for information on a sight for a Mauser.

This is purported to have been made for the Argentine Navy Mauser 1909. I've never found anyone who has ever seen one of these or knows anything about it.

The sight mounts on the bolt release and swings forward out of the way so the issue sights can be used.

Interesting sight, similiar to the Lyman No.35 for Mausers shown in the 1916 and 1921 catalogs that mounts on the bolt stop and swings sideways but different in several details. It did require a special height front sight for use with rear receiver sight.

flat out neat. Have seen some weird Lyman peeps for Win. lever guns, & other bolt mounted ones, but have never figured out how they would be locked rigidly enough in position to use, shot after shot.

For hunting large game that is not all that important.
